The song "Good As Gold" is very special to me.  I wrote it during the pandemic and since then it has  been a little beacon of hope for me.  It is also my hope that the song translates that way for others as well.

The song is about confronting life's hardships (whatever that is for you) while simultaneously having the courage to love yourself and know that you have value and that your existence means something in this world.  In the end, it's a pretty cliche message. But I don't really care about that. I still feel a lot of feelings when I listen to the track.

In fact, the idea for the video came about while I was listening to the song, walking down a random alley, stoned out of my gourd.  I thought to myself, "Man, I just love walking in the sunshine, listening to this tune, absorbing all the random and sometimes strange events that occur just by existing..."  And that is basically what the video is; a hyperbolic look at reality.  An in depth look at those ripples in one's perceptibility that make us say to ourselves, "Did that actually just happen?!?"  In a way, my music is the soundtrack of my life and I wanted to portray that feeling through this video.
